TrollBusters was created as a public service warning about internet trolls and to inform the entire internet of who these trolls are.

Isn't it fun to go to a forum and sit back and relax and enjoy the good company of others? It sure is but then the trolls come a strolling in to distrupt everyone. Then their games begin.

As requested by many, we are starting this forum to post and warn others of forum trolls. We originally started a blog, but it filled up very quickly and felt it would be more beneficial on a forum.

Most times, the same trolls will appear on every forum in many fake names to play their games. Well now everyone will be able to see all of the names these trolls use. Maybe these trolls will read this and realize that everyone knows who they are, and then maybe, they will go away and actually get a life.

This forum is NOT for posting lies and untruths about people. If you have encountered problems with trolls, you can warn others about them, discuss it but only if it is truthful. Anything that is not truthful and made up will be removed. There is enough drama from the truths, so there is no need to make anything up here.

We also may not know the trolls that others request to be added.

If you are a site owner and would like to submit your troll(s) information, please post in "Site Owners Lounge" forum or PM an administrator.

We also have a private forum for board owners to discuss their trolls. You will need to PM an administrator for access. Admins can also discuss and share tips on running their boards in the Admin Power forum.

In addition to our forums about Trolls and Internet Safety and Admin Power, we also have a variety of fun topics and an arcade.

The Shock and Scam Troll

The Shock and Scam Troll can be one of the worst trolls because they do not troll boards to distrupt and destroy, but to gain friendships, gifts and money. They usually make this a side business.

This is a very sick, deceiving and hurtful type of troll. They will search the web looking for pictures of mothers and children and save them. They will join several message boards under different names using the different pictures of the mothers and children and pretend to be that mother with those children. They are always pregnant or become pregnant also.

They will be very sweet and friendly and gain the trust of other board members. They will share stories of everyday life, pregnancy and birth with their online friends. After they have gained that trust, they will usually come up with a sad story to gain sympathy and support. They will usually end up receiving money from their online friends to help with a very sad and hard situation.

Then they announce that they are pregnant and will usually even create online gift registries so that their online friends can purchase a gift for them or send them money. Once they receive their gifts, they will return the items for cash.

This is the most disgusting and hurtful type of troll. Not only did they scam their online friends and hurt them with their fake friendship but they also frauded them by receiving gifts and money.

These types of trolls are out there and usually harder to spot until they make a mistake. They should be arrested and charged for fraud and forced to return all the money and gifts that they have received from their online friends.
